Visiting Researcher 

Dr Alessandro Rizzi is a visiting researcher at the Leicester Real World Evidence Unit. He completed his PhD in basic biomedical sciences and public health at Catholic University School of Medicine in Rome (IT) and his residency in Geriatrics at Università degli Studi dell’Aquila (IT). He is a post-doctoral fellow at Diabetes Care Unit, Catholic University, School of Medicine in Rome.  

His main interests include epidemiology of cardiovascular disease in both type 1 and type 2 diabetes, the impact of technology in the management of diabetes and medical statistics.
